i wanna rain on your PARADE.

For some reason I listened to Duffy's "Rain on your parade" just when i was flicking through Alexis Mabille Couture ss2010 and I felt like I needed to see those girls stomp it to that song. I obviously haven't seen the video, but with a strong, cohesive collection like that, i want them to stomp. The harsh lines, the bold colours, it needs strong. But maybe it also needs to be juxtaposed with soft, i'm not sure. I loved the flow of the collection, the colours developed and morphed into the next outfit and the next. My only problem was the bride at the end, she felt bland, but maybe that pallet needed bland, and i am wrong.
