Friday

valentino.

Valentino continues to evolve more and more into something we don't expect. The colours, the shapes, the fabrics, the textures are just all absolutely stunning! I was always such a fan of Valentino himself, but I like that the collections have evolved even more since hes been gone. He was the last emperor of couture, but V has now extended into such a different area. They could not carry on the perfection that was Valentino, so they've headed in a different direction and I love it!

I love love love this dress on Gwyneth! I also love that she wore it to the launch of Valentino's The Last Emperor DVD which is by far one of my favourite DVDs ever!

I love Giancarlo. In the DVD he talks about how V never really professes his gratitude and then V does this lovely speech about G, its so sweet. Thats love right there. On another note, I love G's trench coat obsession!!

"I think you're a bit too tan" - Giancarlo to Valentino. So cute. I love his tuxedo!

She might even look better leaving...I'm not sure. All i know is I love both outfits SO much!

Thursday

the last emperor.

Tonight Valentino The Last Emperor has filled me with even more love of fashion that I already have, and that is hard to do. The documentary movie is just the most beautiful of all. Giancarlo and Valentino are just so amazingly adorable together. I can't believe they've been together for over 48 years. It is an astonishingly beautiful relationship that, of course, has its flaws, but it works and it is so lovely to watch the bicker like a normal couple. I love him. I love both of them. I love the clothes. There is not much more to say. See it. Buy it. Love it. Image and video hosting by TinyPic
